The Sharp also has a great analog sound as well.
Although I havegraduated to the much higher cost Sony MD-90, this was my first, and totell you the truth they perform almost as well.
The final reason fofpurchasing this machine over an MP3 player is that for the price of 1 SonyMagicGate 64MB Memory Card (holding an hour of music), you can get 60Multi-recordable Minidiscs (holding close to 70 hours of music)Need I saymore?

Sharp's MD-MS722 is a favorite among minidisc enthusiasts. This portableaudio player/recorder offers several easy-to-use features, such as a jog shuttlecontrol that makes it convenient to spin through up to 100 characters for quicktitling.
With the supplied optical digital audio cable, you can record and selectindividual songs from other digital sources to create your own customizedminidiscs. The MD-MS722 has a 40-second anti-skip memory buffer and a three-mode digital X- Bass system. The extended-life lithium battery adapter offers up to 10 hours ofplayback time and eight hours of recording time.
