This MP3 player is slick looking and the sound quality is AWESOME.1 GB is enough room for all of my favorite songs...it holds about 200 regular quality mp3's.Battery life is pretty good too, about 10 hours.It charges fully very quickly as well.I really like the compact size as it's very unobtrusive.The necklace earbuds are neat too because it keeps the device attached to you-you do not have to worry about dropping or losing it.

The only possible cons I can think of:
1. The control buttons take some getting used to.I am a woman with small fingers and I sometimes push the wrong buttons, so it might be tough to navigate for a guy with big fingers.

2. Battery-It's built in and while replacement is suggested in the user manual under certain conditions, I have no idea how you could do this without sending it in to be repaired.

A couple of tips I have figured out in my 5 days of ownership that may enhance your experience if you choose this device:

1. I would recommend MusicMatch for converting your CD's to MP3's as it's a pretty easy to use program and seems to be intuitive.I purchased the "Pro" version but I am not sure that the free one wouldn't have worked as well for my purposes.The advert said the free one is slower which is why I went ahead for the paid version.

2. You can hook this up to PC speakers if you want to listen without headphones and have cramped space or are unable to access a PC...this worked well at my office where I didn't have the ability to hook the player up to my PC but did have speakers to listen to.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone new to the world of MP3's.

At 0.63 ounces and 0.94 inches (24mm) square, the mobiBLU Cube DAH-1500i is the world's smallest MP3 player (as of January, 2006). This 1 GB player in silver is compatible with both MP3 and WMA digital audio files, and it has an integrated FM radio (with record function), voice recorder, and clock. The built-in lithium-polymer battery provides between 8 and 10 hours of battery life, and it can be easily recharged by a USB connection to your PC (via the included cable). It also sports a cutting edge OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display that looks terrific and draws less power than conventional LCD displays.
The 1 GB mobiBLU Cube DAH-1500i will hold approximately 16 hours of CD-quality MP3 tracks (encoded at 128kps) or 32 hours of WMA tracks (at 64kbps). It's compatible with MP3, WMA, and secure WMA DRM (enabling you to play tracks purchased from online stores or downloaded from subscription services). The FM radio offers 20 presets, and it enables you to record FM programming to the Cube's memory. You can also use the built-in microphone and voice recording function to capture interviews, classes, and short voice notes to yourself.
It features five preset equalization modes--Normal / Rock / Jazz / Pop / Classic--and you can also customize equalization to suit your sound. It also offers SRS WOW virtual surround sound for a 3D soundscape and superior bass. The player can play MP3 files saved in multiple folders. Those files and folders can be selected and played as if in a Windows environment. Previous user settings and track location are automatically restored when the unit is powered on, in case of a sudden power loss.
