Cons: Doesn't use m3u playlists or mediaplayer playlists. Can only create playlists using their own software.
No cool accessories(although it fits in an ipod carrycase and armband carrier)

Ok, so I was thinking about an IPod for the longest time.However, the functionality of these portables is expanding by leaps and bounds and I didn't want to spend $300 buck for something that was going to be outdated in 6 months.Then again, I didn't think I could live with 1GB of space for $100.
Then I found this little gem.It's got 20gb, plays mp3s and wma. It comes with its own software to move sound files to the portable over a USB2.0, however, you can also use internet explorer and move files just like it is another drive to your computer.I don't actually use the inoi software to synch my music.I use mediamonkey and it syncs just fine.
So, if you have a bunch of files and you want to carry them around to the gym, the office, the car, or just to share with friends.This is your player.
If you want to show off to your friends with the latest tech gadget, go spend $400 on an ipod with video that will be an antique in 6 months.

Eventually I might buy one of those overpriced gadgets...when they have 20gb of space for $200 and it comes with sattelite radio and a phone, pda, video, playstation and blackberry all in one...that should be out by xmas of 2007.
