(More customer reviews)My old recording watch (Xonix) died (the mechanical hands part), so I looked around for something new.I ordered the MP4 from Amazon, feeling more secure than ebay for something new and strange from China!Delivery by the Amazon supplier was one week from Hong Kong, well packaged.
An amazing device.Comfortable size for me (average male), not heavy.Menu buttons take some learning, but are convenient. Play button opens large, bright, time display, readable without my glasses.Second Play push brings up the menu:play music files, play video (clear, with sound),display photos, play or record sound (voice), display text (ebook), games and FM radio (channels can be setup).
My first use is for recording music sessions for learning,but the photo slideshows and video are ideal for family pictures, showing to friends.
Files load and unload easily via USB from my (Mac) computer, but the video conversion, to size and format (the MTV codec is described in Wikipedia), only works with a Windows system (my wife's).
Be prepared to puzzle through the instructions a couple of times, the features are worth it.
