(More customer reviews)I basically like this MP3 player, but there are a few things that leave me a bit unsatisfied.

PROS:
- Supports an external memory card
- AAA battery (nothing proprietary).You can use a AAA rechargeable if you like
- Reads nested folders on the device and the card
- Sound quality is pretty good
- Display is very easy to read
- Supports Audible content (downloadable books)
- USB 2.0 - and uses a standard USB (mini) cable
- Shows up as a drive in Windows 2000/XP
- Small & light

CONS:
- No playlist support
- There is no way to play songs in a single folder.Even though it can read nested folders, it plays them as a single list.
- The top volume setting could be a bit louder.This device is plenty loud, but if you are in a noisy environment, you might want it to go to 31 or 32.
- The buttons are a bit stiff and unresponsive.This may change over time.

Overall a very good player.
