(More customer reviews)My first MP3 player was a Sansa e200 series 4gb.When I outgrew that device, I "upgraded" to a 8gb device, but it wasn't a Sansa.What a mistake!!I've now fixed that error by coming back to Sansa.

Here's how I see it:

Pluses:
Fast booting, bright screen.
Great battery life.
Responds quickly with a light touch on the touch pad.
Although I'm not a big user, it is convenient to have a built-in FM radio.
I really enjoy the sound quality.

Cons:
My biggest complaint (which I admit is relatively minor) is that creating an "on the go playlist" is a bit of a hassle as you have to go into a screen for each song and select it there.

In the world dominated by that "other" company, I find that Sansa provides a pleasing, easy and economical alternative.
