(More customer reviews)Camcorder function, camera function(only 1 mp but hey what do you want for 40 bucks) and 4gb of music and you can put a micro sd card in it.I have purchased a variety of off brand name mp3 players, I have a cheap coby that works well, and a few others, all of which purchased together don't cost what one ipod costs.I have held and used ipods that friends have however I refuse to purchase due to apple's nazi nature of having to use their software and bla bla unless you jailbreak them which you shouldn't have to do.Here is what should happen when you attach your mp3 player to your computer, it should immediately be recognized as a hard drive and you should be able to drop music into music folders, video in video folders etc, with NO third party software, and without being forced to use certain software, and vice versa, if you plug an mp3 player into a computer you should be able to pull what is on the mp3 player and put it directly on your computer.Is that too much to ask????Apparanty it is if you buy any product from apple.If you want to compare apples to apples (get it?) look at the price of a 4 gb ipod shuffle, then look at this.For a video review someone has one on youtube if you want to see it in action.Yea the speaker isn't very loud but this thing is small and most mp3 players don't even have a speaker.Its not without flaws, the volume function is weird, you have to hold the vol button down for a few seconds on the bottom, then the volume bar comes up and you press the ff button andrewind buttom to raise vol. and lower volume which I find strange, but hey it works.When you go into videos and scroll into what you want to play you hit the menu button, not the play button to play the video, which again, makes no sense but it works.There is a stop watch, calender, pc camera, a variety of things that come in handy.It comes with software to transfer video to correct avi format, I put videos on mine with no problem.You can find and organize music by album and artist, you can have random play, you have an fm tuner.You get ALOT for 40 bucks.If you are worried about it breaking, get a warranty from squaretrade.If you lose it, at least you wont lose a 250 dollar ipod!!!
